Purpose

To seek approval to tender for the provision
of services for Rough Sleepers. It is anticipated that some of
these services will be funded by the Ministry of Housing,
Communities & Local Government (MHCLG) under the Rough Sleeper
Initiative grant. The services comprise of the following:

Rapid Assessment Hub
Housing First Service
Outreach, Housing advice and Resettlement Service

Content

That the Cabinet Member for Housing, having
consulted with the Leader:
 
i)            
Approves inviting tenders for the provision of (1) Outreach,
Housing Advice and Resettlement Services (core contract and
additional RSI funded services); (2) Housing First Service; and (3)
Rapid Assessment Hub; for rough sleepers, on
the basis of the pre-tender considerations set out in the
accompanying report.
 
ii)           
Approves officers evaluating the tenders referred to in
(i) above on the
basis of the evaluation criteria set out in the accompanying
report.
 
iii)          
Notes that the following services are subject to RSI grant funding
received by MHCLG: Housing First Service; Rapid Assessment Hub; and
additional Outreach, Housing Advice and Resettlement Services.
