Purpose
To delegate authority to the West London Waste
Authority (WLWA) to lead a procurement process to tender for a new
Bulky Waste Material Collection Services Contract.
Content
That the Cabinet Member for Public Realm and
Enforcement, having consulted with the Leader:
i)
Exercises delegated powers to grant an exemption from Contract
Standing Orders to tender for Medium Value Contracts in respect of
a contract for Bulky Waste Material Collection Services.
ii)
Agrees to join the West London Waste Authority (WLWA) led
procurement for a call-off contract for Bulky Waste Material
Collection Services for an initial term of three (3) years with the
option to extend for a further one (1) year, to be procured using
WLWA internal governance processes and its dynamic purchasing
system.
iii)
Notes that, following the identification of preferred bidders under
the WLWA dynamic purchasing system, officers will seek approval
from the Corporate Director Neighbourhoods and Regeneration to
authorise the WLWA to award a contract for Bulky Waste Material
Collection Services.
iv)
Notes that a Service Level Agreement will be entered into with WLWA
to cover the respective responsibilities of parties. Following the
identification of preferred bidders under the WLWA dynamic
purchasing system, officers will seek approval from the Corporate
Director Neighbourhoods and Regeneration to enter into the Service
Level Agreement.
