The Council decided to approve the Members Allowance Scheme for the 2024-25 Financial Year and authorised the Corporate Director of Governance to publicise it. The scheme includes a 5% uplift to basic allowances and targeted increases to Special Responsibility Allowances for Chairs of Brent Connects Area Consultative Forums and members of the Licensing Committee. The Dependant Carers Allowance policy was also amended to clarify eligible expenses and align with statutory requirements.
