About

The Public Protection and Enforcement Policy Development & Scrutiny Committee reviews executive decisions and policies related to areas such as anti-social behaviour, drug action, youth offending, trading standards, and collaboration with the Metropolitan Police. It scrutinises the council's approach to these public protection and enforcement matters. The committee's role is to examine and provide recommendations on these policies, ensuring they are effective and align with the council's objectives. Its work impacts residents by overseeing services that maintain community safety and uphold standards.
