Note the outcome of the Statutory Consultation.
To proceed with the removal of three trees currently in the White Hart Street area: two outside Café Roberto and one outside TSB Bank/Guild Hall.

Reasons for the decision

To enable the implementation of the landscaping improvements including planters with shrubs, and small trees as part of the White Hart Street Public Realm Improvements project. The scheme will also replant 3 new trees outside Café Roberto, which will be suited to the urban environment in the newly constructed tree cells.

Alternative options considered

To consider any other options would also involve a further Statutory Consultation process and could lead to a delay in the completion of the regeneration works in White Hart Street.
