Purpose
Buckinghamshire Highways has proposed the
removal of trees on Maxwell Road, Beaconsfield. Some of the trees
are causing upheaval of the footpaths and surrounding areas and may
cause a safety hazard to footpath and road users. The scope of this scheme is to improve the safety
of vulnerable non- motorised road users by improving the existing
infrastructure for sustainable transport.

Recommendations:
That
the Leader approves recommendation to remove four trees on Maxwell
Road, Beaconsfield, which are in poor health and pose unacceptable
potential risk of harm to the public.
Note
should be also be made that we currently have an agreement with an
adjacent land owner that saves two trees initially identified for
removal. If this permission is revoked during final design stages
it is a further recommendation to remove these two additional
trees.
