A review of all countywide Public Spaces Protection Orders with recommendations for expiry, extension, and replacement with new up-to-date prohibitions.

Decision

Recommendations:

That the Leader approves the following recommendations in to be implemented from October 2025:

1)      The extension of the Buckinghamshire Council West End Road Public Spaces Protection Order for a further 3 years under the provisions of Section 60(2) Anti-Social Behaviour Crime and Policing Act 2014 commencing 3rd October 2025.

2)      The discharge of the High Wycombe Desborough Road Public Spaces Protection Order and the Buckinghamshire Council - Buckingham Town Public Spaces Protection Order under the provisions of under Section 61(4) Anti-Social Behaviour Crime and Policing Act 2014 to take effect on 3rd October 2025.

3)      The discharge of the following Public Space Protection Orders made under the legacy council provisions in accordance with Section 61(4) Anti-Social Behaviour Crime and Policing Act 2014 to take effect on 3rd October 2025

a)      Aylesbury Vale District Council Town Centre PSPO

b)     Aylesbury Vale District Council PSPO

c)      Chiltern District Council (Alcohol Consumption) PSPO

d)     Winslow & Steeple Claydon PSPO

e)      Chiltern Designated Car Parks PSPO

f)       Dorney Lake PSPO

g)      High Wycombe Town Centre PSPO

4)      To make the following new Public Space Protection Orders under the provisions of section 59 of the Anti-Social Behaviour Crime and Policing Act 2014 to take effect on 3rd October 2025:

a)   Buckinghamshire Council Aylesbury Town Centre and Vale Park PSPO.

b)   Buckinghamshire Council Aylesbury Parks and Open Spaces PSPO.

c)    Buckinghamshire Council Chesham and Amersham PSPO.

d)   Buckinghamshire Council Winslow and Steeple Claydon PSPO.

e)      Buckinghamshire Council Designated Car Parks PSPO.

f)     Buckinghamshire Council Dorney Lake PSPO.

g)   Buckinghamshire Council High Wycombe PSPO.
