Approval to proceed to Statutory Consultation
for the making of a Traffic Regulation Order to reduce the speed
limit of 50mph on Churchway, Haddenham to 30mph outside the new
development.

Reasons for the decision

For facilitating the passage on the road or
any other road of any class of traffic including pedestrians as
part of developer-led works under Section 278 of the Highways Act
1980.

Alternative options considered

Other proposals for a speed limit change would
also involve a statutory consultation. The 30mph proposal aligns
with the visibility requirements for a 50mph speed limit.
