Full council record
Purpose
To note the feedback received from the LEVI Programme Board in February 2025 on our proposed Electric Vehicle (EV) commercial arrangements for the LEVI-funded project.
To agree our preferred commercial arrangements for the Council to deliver a step-change in the deployment of publicly accessible EV chargepoints across Buckinghamshire.
Decision
Recommendations:
Consider the implications to the Medium-Term Financial Plan (MTFP) of the change in requirements for these Electric Vehicle (EV) chargepoints on the projected income stream; note the £68k shortfall in FY25-26 will be covered within Transport Strategy existing budgets and remove income targets of £139k in FY26/27 and £150k in FY27/28.
Agree to proceed to tender for on-street lamppost/bollard-mounted ‘slow’ chargepoints subject to approval from Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV).
