To agree the lease renewal of Unit 33, Shopping Centre, Aylesbury

Reasons for the decision

The terms of the lease renewal are in line with the current market demand. The proposed lease renewal will continue to generate a revenue to support
delivery of the Council’s services and meeting the Council’s obligations under Section 123 of the Local Government Act 1972.

Alternative options considered

Not to renew the lease:
Benefit - None
Disbenefit - There is currently no demand for this unit.
Displacing the current tenant would also mean that an important community service would need to be provided elsewhere within Aylesbury
