Reasons for the decision

To renew the existing Lease regarding Land on the North-Eastern side of Kingsmead Road, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.

Alternative options considered

Do nothing – allow Tenant to continue to hold over:
Benefit: None
Disbenefit: The Tenant would continue to hold over under the existing Lease terms and the Council would not benefit from modernised/’improved’ terms being proposed under renewal of existing lease.

Serve Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, s.25 Notice seeking possession of property:
Benefit: Council regains possession of Property to explore alternative uses/seek a new Tenant
Disbenefit: Currently no grounds under Section 30(1) of the Act upon which to seek possession.
