To approve letting of a Council-owned site

Decision

In accordance with the Cabinet Decision on 9 September 2025, the site was widely marketed for disposal. Several bids were received and considered. The Cabinet report recommended that the offer from the preferred bidder was accepted by Cabinet. The recommended offer and details of all bids received were included in Confidential Appendices 3 and 4.

RESOLVED

1)      That the letting of the Council owned site at Coronation Road, Cressex Business Park High Wycombe to the preferred bidder on the terms set out in the Confidential Appendix (see agreed Heads of Terms – Confidential Appendix 1) be approved.

2)      That authority be delegated to the Corporate Director for Resources in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Resources to finalise the terms of the legal documentation to give effect to the letting.

3)      That authority be delegated to the Chief Legal Officer to undertake all legal steps required to give effect to the letting upon agreement of the terms and serve any associated notices.

4)      That the revenue rental income from the proposed deal be ringfenced as a contribution to Capital reserves, in lieu of a capital receipt.
