Reasons for the decision

Terriers End Car Park (TECP) is located on the junction of Amersham Road/Totteridge Lane in the Terriers/Amersham Hill area of High Wycombe.
The surface car park consists of 24 spaces with a landscaped surround.
It is free of charge to park at TECP and generates no income currently.
It is assumed that local businesses make the greatest use of this car park along with some use by residents and visitors to the neighbouring shops/takeaway establishments.
TECP was historically Licenced to WDC by BCC. This agreement came to an end in circa 2014 when WDC rationalised its car park offer, ‘disposing’ of non-fee generating car parks.
The site has become a magnet for abandoned cars at times.
An options appraisal was carried out (OED: Options Appraisal, Terriers End Car Park, Totteridge Lane, High Wycombe 29th July 2025) and marketing of the site with a view to leasing the Property was approved
