Purpose
The Youth Justice Plan lays out the plans of the Buckinghamshire Youth Justice & Support Team (YJST), explains our achievements during the last twelve months and our priorities for the plan period ahead.
Decision
The purpose of this report was to present the Buckinghamshire Youth Justice Plan 2026 – 2029, as set out in the appendix. The Youth Justice Plan provided details of progress made against statutory outcomes for children and victims. It outlined priorities for the next 3 years, alongside potential future challenges for the partnership.
The plan had been developed in collaboration with children, parents/carers and victims supported by the service. The plan demonstrated the strength of practice, commitment and approach from the service alongside the partnership which had supported to achieve strong outcome measures against National Indicators and supported to improve the lives of children, families and victims.
RESOLVED that the 2026-2029 Youth Justice Planbe endorsed and recommended to Council for adoption.
