Purpose

To introduce or amend Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs) on a number of roads affected or part of either HS2 or SEALR. This will be the first batch of TROs, with more planned in the future.

Decision

The Leader:

NOTED the outcome of the Statutory Consultation.

APPROVED making and introduction of the Traffic Regulation Order as advertised, subject to the following clarifications:

·         The 30mph speed limit on Lower Road will be enforced through a system of street lighting and will not require a formal Traffic Regulation Order (extents from No.67 Lower Road in a northerly direction towards a point just south of the junction with Beethoven Drive and including the SEALR roundabout).

·         The 30mph speed limit on A413 Wendover Road will be enforced through a system of street lighting and will not require a formal Traffic Regulation Order (extents from No. 268 Wendover Road in a southerly direction to a point just north of Hampden Hall Roundabout).

These Orders includes the introduction of Batch 1 (listed in report) Traffic Regulation Orders to support ongoing HS2 and South East Aylesbury Link Road (SEALR) works and acknowledges the introduction of shared cycleways on the SEALR and Stoke Mandeville Relief Road (SMRR).
