Children’s Services in Buckinghamshire continued to operate in a period of significant national reform, rising demand, increasing complexity and ongoing financial pressure. This annual report provided Cabinet with an overview of key developments across children’s social care, education, Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), early years and family support, alongside local progress, achievements and areas of continued focus.

RESOLVED:

a)      That the local and national developments across Children’s Services during 2025/26 be noted.

b)     That the progress made and the priorities for continued improvement during 2026/27 be noted.
