Decision

The Mayor referred to the
proposed nomination pursuant to the powers under section 249(5) of the Local
Government Act 1972, the Council admit the following persons to be Honorary Freewomen and Honorary Freeman of the
Borough of Calderdale in recognition and acknowledgement of their eminent
services to the Borough;     It was moved
by the Leader, Seconded by
the Deputy,   RESOLVED that:   (a)          
 pursuant to the powers under section 249(5) of
the Local Government Act 1972, the Council admit Gillian Greenwood and
Christine Harris, Deputy Lieutenant to be HONORARY FREEWOMEN of the Borough of
Calderdale in recognition and acknowledgement of their eminent services to the Borough;   (b)          
Colin Greenwood
to be an HONORARY FREEMAN of the Borough of Calderdale in recognition and
acknowledgment of his eminent services to the Borough; and   (c)          
a ceremony be
arranged at which formal addresses be presented by the Mayor;
and The Mayor and the Chief Executive be authorised on that occasion to attest
the fixing of the Common Seal of the Council to the addresses to be presented.
