Employment Committee

The Employment Committee, made up of seven councillors, is responsible for overseeing the council's employment policies and practices. It reviews and sets collective and corporate terms and conditions of employment, as well as benefits. The committee also considers recruitment and retention strategies and supports member learning and development. It approves the draft Pay Policy Statement for recommendation to Full Council and monitors its consistent and lawful application, including transparency in pay and termination payments.
