Purpose

To recommend changes for implementation to contracted bus services which have been reviewed utilising the Bus Service Review Framework.

Decision

RESOLVED:

A.    To note the outcome of the contracted bus services review, including the evidence base, consultation feedback and officer assessment

To recommend that the Combined Authority Board approves:

B.    The package of bus service changes for the Fenland area, summarised in section 4B of Appendix A

C.    The package of bus service changes for the Huntingdonshire area, summarised in section $c, 4D, 4E & 4F of Appendix A

D.    The package of bus service changes for the South Cambridgeshire & Cambridge City area, summarised in section 4G of Appendix A

E.    The package of bus service changes for the East Cambridgeshire area, summarised in section 4H of Appendix A

F.    The package of bus service changes for the Peterborough area, summarised in section 4I of Appendix A

G.    To approve delegated authority for the Assistant Director, Public Transport, in consultation with the Director for Legal and Governance and the Chief Finance Officer, to take all necessary steps to implement the approved proposals B, C, D, E and F, including the finalisation of procurement processes, the award of contracts, the entry into and execution of contracts and contractual variations, and the making of any minor amendments to specifications or contractual documentation required to give effect to those proposals, subject to affordability, approved, legal compliance and any further statutory requirements.
