Purpose

To gain support to reprocure the current Tiger on Demand contracted services in West Huntingdonshire, Fenland, East Cambridgeshire and South Cambridgeshire

Decision

RESOLVED: (Unanimous)

A.    To note the performance, development and strategic role of the Tiger on Demand services across East Cambridgeshire, Fenland, South Cambridgeshire and Huntingdonshire.

B.    To recommend that the Combined Authority Board approves the re-procurement of the Tiger on Demand services from 11 January 2027, following expiry of the current contracts on 10 January 2027

C.    To recommend that the Combined Authority Board approve the proposed procurement approach comprising two lots: a Northern Lot covering Fenland and East Cambridgeshire, and a Southern Lot covering Huntingdonshire and South Cambridgeshire.

D.    To recommend that the Combined Authority Board approves delegated authority for the Assistant Director, Public Transport, in consultation with the Director for Legal and Governance and the Chief Finance Officer, to take all necessary steps to finalise the procurement, award and enter into contracts, and make any minor amendments required to give effect to the approved approach, subject to affordability, legal compliance and statutory requirements
