Planning Sub-Committee

The Planning Sub-Committee assists the main Planning Committee by examining specific planning matters referred to it. It monitors the progress of significant developments, such as the South Canterbury development at Mountfield Park, and reviews planning enforcement reports. The sub-committee also carries out site visits as directed by the main committee. Its role is to provide detailed consideration and recommendations on planning applications and enforcement issues within its remit.
