Children and Young People Scrutiny Committee

The Children and Young People Scrutiny Committee examines and promotes improvement in the Council's services for children and young people. It reviews performance, policies, aims, and objectives across areas such as school improvement, social services, early years development, and youth services.

The committee assesses how external partnerships and resources, including those from the Welsh Government, affect service delivery. It reports its findings and makes recommendations to the Cabinet or Council to enhance performance and service provision for children and young people in Cardiff.
