About
The Cheshire and Warrington Joint Committee is an executive committee established by Cheshire East Council, Cheshire West and Chester Council, and Warrington Council to discharge specific functions. It oversees the business plan, budget, and capital expenditure of Enterprise Cheshire and Warrington (ECW), appointing directors and approving contracts and leases above certain thresholds. The committee also receives reports from advisory boards and management groups, and can agree changes to its own functions and governance structures, subject to approval by the three constituent councils.
