About

The Planning Committee is responsible for deciding on planning applications, Listed Building Consent, and the Council's regulatory functions. It reviews reports and makes decisions on development proposals affecting the local area. Members of the public can speak at meetings on applications they have objected to or supported, subject to certain conditions and time limits for requests. Decisions are made based on planning policies and evidence presented.
