That the forecast outturn position of the General Fund Revenue
Account for the financial year 2024/25 be noted.

That the strategy for achieving a managed underspend General Fund
Revenue Account budget outturn position for the financial year
2024/25 be supported.
 

3.  
That the General Fund Capital Programme expenditure forecast for
the financial year 2024/25 be noted.
 

4.  
That the emerging Medium-Term Financial Plan forecast positions for
the General Fund Revenue Account for the period 2025/26 to 2028/29
be noted.
 
REASONS FOR
DECISIONS
 

1.  
This periodic monitoring report summarises the
current assessment of the Council’s forecast outturn position
for the financial year 2024/25 in relation to the General Fund
Revenue Account. It also provides a robust basis for medium term
financial planning.
 

2.  
The report also provides an update on the current
status of the General Fund Capital Programme.
 

3.  
 This is the third formal
monitoring report for the 2024/25 financial year.
