Community & Children's Services Committee

The Community & Children's Services Committee oversees the provision of accommodation, sporting, and leisure facilities for City residents and workers. It manages over 2,000 properties, sheltered housing, and the Golden Lane Leisure Centre. The committee also directs all social services, including social work, domiciliary support, and care for City residents and those associated with St Bartholomew's Hospital. Furthermore, it holds responsibility for the City's local education authority functions, encompassing adult education, careers services, youth activities, and Aldgate School.
