Purpose
The
Homelessness Act 2002 places a statutory obligation on local
authorities to undertake a review of homelessness in their area and
to develop and publish a strategy to prevent homelessness based on
the findings of the review. Our current strategy was written
pre-covid and no longer reflects the current homelessness and rough
sleeping landscape in Cornwall. This
report will present the final draft of the revised Homelessness and
Rough Sleeping Strategy, our Evidence Base document and an
Implementation Plan for approval.
