RESOLVED
that
 
1. 
The draft Work Programme be approved, subject to the
additions as set out in the minutes above.
2. 
In accordance with the Overview and Scrutiny
Protocol, prior to its next consideration by the Committee at
mid year, amendments to the Committee
Work Programme be determined by the Chairman of the Committee, in
consultation with the Vice Chairman, the Senior Responsible Officer
and the Democratic Services Lead, with any changes to be given
effect by the Senior Responsible Officer and the Committee to be
noted as soon as any changes were approved.
 
ACTIONS
 
 
i. 
Kindship Care.  To be
provisionally added to the November 2025 pending a completed work
programme form being completed by Councillor Johnson.  
 
ii. 
Children’s dental health.  To include educational and preventative dentistry
and for Gareth Walsh of Public Health to attend a future Committee
meeting and for the issue of dentistry for Children in Care to be
included within the ILAX update
 
iii. 
SEND Home to School Transport and Wheelchair
accessibility – to be included within the Home to School
Transport report update.
 
iv. 
Accessibility at school. 
Briefing paper to be provided with regards to include dropped curbs
etc.
 
v. 
Best start in Life.  To
be included in the work programme, timescales to be
agreed.
 
vi. 
Exclusions and suspensions to be added to the work
programme timescales to be agreed.
 
vii. 
Belonging Framework – to be added to the work
programme time scales to be agreed.
