DECISION:

 

Recommendations:

1. 
That the publication of the two tenders set out
below, be approved and that authority be delegated to the Strategic
Director for Safe and Caring Communities, in consultation with the
Leader and the Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care and Health
Partnerships, to award and enter into the Framework Agreements with
the successful bidders

a) Care
Homes Development Framework
b) Care
Homes Care Services Framework

2. 
That the recommended approach to ‘Provider
A’, as set out in Exempt Appendix 2 to the report, be
approved.

3. 
That the Business Case for the Care Home Purchasing
be approved and that authority be delegated to the Strategic
Director for Safe and Caring Communities, in consultation with the
Leader and the Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care and Health
Partnerships, to proceed with publishing the tender and awarding
subsequent contracts, subject to the Council’s required
governance processes.
