The Committee was asked to
consider a resolution that the press and public be excluded from
the meeting due to questions put to Cabinet Member Economic
Regeneration and Investment on the Public Service Obligation (PSO)
on the grounds that there was likely to be a disclosure to the
public of exempt information of the following
descriptions:
 
 Category 3. Information relating to the financial
or business affairs of any particular person (including the
authority holding that information.
 
It was noted that there had
been compliance with the public interest test provisions in the
Local Government Act 1972, in undertaking the
resolution. 
 
It was moved by Councillor
Donnithorne, seconded by Councillor Gow and
 
 RESOLVED that, in accordance with the Local
Government Act 1972, as amended, the press and public be excluded
from the meeting during consideration of the following business on
the grounds that they would be likely to involve the disclosure of
exempt information of the following description:  Category 3 - Information relating to the financial
or business affairs of any particular person (including the
authority holding that information).
 
Councillor Mitchell asked for
his name to be recorded as voting against the above
resolution.
