Decision

It was moved by Councillor Cole, seconded by Councillor Yelland and

RESOLVED that

1. Responsibility for Functions appearing in Section 4 of the Constitution be updated in accordance with paragraph 2.7 of this report to confirm the respective budgetary responsibilities of the Budget Development and Corporate Finance and Performance Overview and Scrutiny Committees.
2. The Overview and Scrutiny Procedure Rules at Section 8 of the Constitution be updated to confirm:-

(i) that the Budget Development Overview and Scrutiny Committee be scheduled for three ordinary meetings per year; and

(ii) that the Budget Development Overview and Scrutiny Committee has a set work programme to support transparency, understanding and delivery of its role.

1. That authority be delegated to the Monitoring Officer to update the Responsibility for Functions at Section 3 of the Constitution and the Overview and Scrutiny Procedure Rules at Section 8 of the Constitution to accurately reflect the Council’s decision.
