seeking approval for submission of an addendum updating the Outline
Business Case for the A39 Atlantic Highway (Camelford bypass) to
the Department for Transport, on the basis of a revised cost
estimate.

DECISION:
 

RESOLVED:
 
1.  That the
submission of an addendum updating the Outline Business Case for
the ‘A39 Atlantic Highway: Camelford bypass’ to the Department for
Transport, on the basis of a revised cost estimate of
£146.625m in line with the submission proforma set out in Appendix 1 to the report, be
approved.
 
2.
 
That the submission of the Outline Business Case addendum is made
on the basis that further scheme development costs required to
progress the scheme to Full Business Case submission are 66% funded
by Central Government, with Cornwall Council’s capital
contribution up to Full Business Case estimated at being a further
£2.62m (bringing the total contribution to
£5.06m).
