Purpose

Under the Health and Social Care Act 2012
(section 31) the Director of Public Health has a duty to write a
report on the health of the population. Within the same section of
the act, the Council has a duty to publish the report.

DECISION:
 

RESOLVED:
 
1.  That the
contents of the Director of Public Health Annual Report 2022/23 be
endorsed.
 
2.  That the
recommendations in the Director of Public Health Annual Report
2022/23 be noted and that Cabinet supports that the recommendations
on addressing inequalities be worked into the Outcome Delivery
Plans for the Council.
