About
The Health and Wellbeing Board promotes integrated working between health, public health, and social care services to improve the health and wellbeing of County Durham residents. It develops a Joint Strategic Needs Assessment to understand current and future health needs, and a Joint Local Health and Wellbeing Strategy based on this assessment. The board also produces a Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment to review pharmacy service provision and identify potential gaps. It advises on arrangements for health services and ensures the Integrated Care Board's strategy aligns with local health and wellbeing priorities.
