Purpose

Subject to the outcome of contract negotiations, to award a building conversion works construction contract under the SCAPE framework to a prime contractor for the Crawley Innovation Centre. Delegation to the Leader was given by Cabinet at its meeting on 6th July 2022 (PES 417 refers).

Decision

Approve the sign off of a Letter of Intent, which commits the contractor to deliver for the Council a preliminary phase of building conversion works to Travel House, up to the value of £1 million and within the contract value set out in consideration report PES/444 which was published for Councillor’s only on 31 October 2023 in Councillors’ Information Bulletin IB/1206.
