About
The Darlington Health and Wellbeing Board brings together local leaders to improve the health and wellbeing of Darlington's population and reduce health inequalities.
It develops a shared understanding of community health needs from birth to end of life, provides system leadership for collaboration, and has strategic influence over commissioning decisions across health, public health, and social care. The board also considers the impact of wider determinants of health.
