Purpose

The Federation of an academy will be joining
the EFA’s Risk Protection Arrangement (RPA), which is an
alternative to insurance, provided by the DfE. The federation has
agreed to pay the Councils costs incurred in this.

Decision

To vary the Federation’s Act Lease to
change standard insuring terms to the EFA’s Risk Protection
Arrangement as provided for by the DFE.

To allow the Federation to save money on insurance premiums and to
comply with DFE policy.
