Purpose

This is a new housing development off A67
Coniscliffe Road. There have been discussions with the developer
regarding various street names, many have been rejected as they
duplicated existing names. Agreement has been reached for the
following British wildlife: Badger Lane, Blackbird Drive, Butterfly
Grove, Chaffinch Court, Dormouse Court, Duckling Court, Flycatcher
Court, Goose Meadow, Hedgehog Grove, Honeybee Lane, Ladybird Drive,
Merganser Court, Moorhen Drive, Natterjack Grove, Newt Court,
Pheasant Lane, Robin Meadow, Squirrel Grove. Numbers have been
allocated as shown on the attached plan.

Decision

To approve new street names and numbers

Streets to be named in accordance with the Public Health Act 1925,
Section 17 and numbered in accordance with Towns Improvement
Clauses Act 1847 along with the GeoPlace Code of Practice for
Street Naming and Numbering.
