Purpose

NWL has approached the Council requesting an
Easement be granted to allow the adoption of a sewer partially
crossing Council’s land. This would allow the adoption of the
sewer and an associated outfall. This, in turn, would allow for the
adoption of sewers for the development. The company has agreed to
pay the Council’s Legal and Surveyors fees.

Decision

To not grant the easement – this would
result in the undesirable outcome of the sewers and roads the
development remaining unadopted.
