Purpose

The charge to collect garden waste in the
2024/25 season, starting in April 2024, needs to be approved to
enable residents to book and pay for the service prior to it
commencing.

The new charge to implemented from 1 December 2023.

Decision

To increase the charge from £39 per
season (April to December) to £45 to reflect increased
employee and operational costs.

Reason - To enable the new charge to be implemented, to allow
residents to book and pay for the next season of the garden waste
collection service.
