Purpose

It has been identified that there is a
discrepancy in the 2023/24 fees for local authority searches and
the component parts that make up the full local authority
search.

The full search fee (which includes the increased LLC1 fees) is
correct but there is an error in that the freestanding LLC1 fee did
not show an increase.

The 2023/2024 LLC1 fees need to be varied to ensure that the fee
set reflects the correct amount and accords with the aggregate of
the component fees

Implementation date: 21 August 2023

Decision

To increase the LLC 1 fee as follows:

Official Search – LLC1 (post), from £15 to
£15.50
Official Search – LLC1 (electronic), from £13 to
£13.50.

With effect from 21st August 2023

Reason: To correct an error with the LLC1 fee set for
2022/2023.
