Purpose

Northern Gas Networks (NGN) has approached the
Council to gain permission to site a welfare unit and parking on
council-owned land, on the former Beck House, West Auckland Road.
This is in connection with works to be carried out on a gas
governor house to the southwest of the Council’s land.
NGN has indicated that the work should last around one week.
The officer has carried out their due diligence in the matter and
is satisfied with the information provided by NGN.

Decision

To issue a license to NGN with NGN to cover
the Council’s professional fees.

To allow NGN to carry out repair works to the Gas Governor.
