About
The Communities Scrutiny Committee examines and reviews the council's services and developments that focus on local areas. It scrutinises a range of issues including the Local Development Plan, roads and highways, town plans, and the local impact of service delivery. The committee also looks at school modernisation, community development, libraries, and regeneration and sustainable development. Its role is to provide oversight and make recommendations to the council on these matters.
