About

The Place Scrutiny Committee monitors the work of Derbyshire County Council and its local partners, including local health services, to improve the services residents use. It makes recommendations for service improvements and examines issues affecting the wider community to fulfil the council’s duty to promote community wellbeing. This is an advisory role, focused on oversight and recommendations rather than direct decision-making.
