Purpose

This report is
seeking to obtain permission to procure a project that was not
included in the latest 2023-2024 Departmental Forward Plan - to
undertake a programme of maintenance work to the five Council
Highways depots located throughout the County.
This approval will allow Award of Contract to be approved by
the Executive Director, in line with the Council�s Financial
Regulations and the Scheme of Delegation.

RESOLVED
to:

 

1)     
Authorise the procurement of the
projects outlined in the body of the report; and

 

2)     
Delegate authority to award the
contracts to the Executive Director – Place under the scheme
of delegation.
