Purpose

To seek Cabinet Member approval for
the appointment of Public Analysts and Agricultural Analysts, as
required by the Food Safety Act 1990 and The Animal Feed (Hygiene,
Sampling etc. and Enforcement) (England) Regulations 2015 (as
amended).

To seek Cabinet Member approval for
future amendments and approvals to the lists of analysts to be
delegated to the Executive Director - Place, through the Place
Scheme of Delegation.
 

Decision

The Cabinet Member:

 

1) approved the appointment of
Public Analysts and Agricultural Analysts, as required by the Food
Safety Act 1990 and The Animal Feed (Hygiene, Sampling etc. and
Enforcement) (England) Regulations 2015 (as amended);
and

 

2) approved that such future
amendments and approval of analysts are delegated to the Executive
Director - Place through the Place Department Scheme of
Delegation.
