Purpose
This report
seeks approval for the Council�s new highway design guides,
Planning Streets and Places and the associated Parking Guidance for
New Developments which will replace the existing Designing Streets
and Places guidance document.
The report also seeks delegated authority for the Executive
Director � Place, in consultation with the Cabinet Member
for Infrastructure and Environment, to make minor alterations to
the approved documents to reflect changes in national guidance and/
or emerging evidence.
