Purpose

To provide Cabinet with an update on the
Council’s preparation of Derbyshire’s Local Nature
Recovery Strategy to coincide with a public consultation on the
draft Strategy.

Decision

RESOLVED
to:

 

1)                
Endorse the Cabinet Member for
Strategic Leadership, Culture, Tourism, and Climate Change’s
decision of 7 February 2025 to approve the public consultation on
the draft Derbyshire Local Nature Recovery Strategy which was
taking place from 14 February to 20 March 2025;

 

2)                
Note the approach, progress made
and identified next-steps in preparing the Derbyshire Local Nature
Recovery Strategy; and

 

3)                
Acknowledge the significant and
valued contributions of a wide variety of people and organisations
in co-producing the Derbyshire Local Nature Recovery Strategy to
date.
