Purpose

To seek
approval to change a number of outside body appointments following
a request from the Reform UK Group.

Decision

To approve with immediate effect that the following change to
Outside Bodies:

 

1)    
Councillors Joss Barnes and Jamie Hodgson are appointed as
members of the Camms Trustee Board;

 

2)    
Councillor Jamie Hodgson is appointed as member of the
Ridgeway Educational Charity;

 

3)    
Councillor Abbott is appointed as a member of the Derbyshire
Law Centre;

 

4)    
Councillor Millward is replaced by Councillor Abbott as a
member of the Chesterfield Community Safety Partnership;

 

5)    
Councillor Smith is replaced by Councillor Millward as a
member of Derbyshire Police and Crime Panel; and

 

6)    
Councillor Bent is replaced by Councillor Chambers as the
Council’s representative on the Heage Windmill Society
Trustee Board.

Reasons for the decision

To ensure that
the Council has appropriate representatives on outside
bodies.

No alternative options have been considered as the
appointments have been submitted as appropriate by the relevant
political group.
