Purpose

To approve
acceptance of the Mayoral Renewable fund grant offer in relation to
the proposed Williamthorpe Clean Energy facility.

The Council has secured the maximum available grant as a
contribution to the capital cost of the development. The details of
this grant award are as noted.
 

Decision

RESOLVED to:
 

1)     
Approve the acceptance of grant funding in the sum of
£0.700m from the Mayoral Renewables Fund via the East
Midlands Combined Authority in relation to the proposed
Williamthorpe clean energy facility; and

 

2)     
Delegate authority to the Executive Director for Corporate
Services and Transformation to confirm acceptance of the grant
terms.
